Photos: In the photos I have the brand name mophead that came with the kit (on the left, it’s off-white due to being used for a couple of months) and one of each type of mophead from this four-pack. As you can see from the second photo, I stacked them together to get a side-by-side comparison of the threads. The individual threads for the brand name one is more compact while the others are bigger due to being fluffy. I’ve seen this with other non-brand name replacements I’ve tried. The ones from this 4 pack seem to have more threads, but when wet they condense down more like the original (I tried to show this in the third photo). The other replacements I’ve tried seem thinner before they’re even used so this is a plus.As expected from trying others, the fluffy and thinner threads aren’t as good as the brand name; HOWEVER, this worked better than the others I’ve tried so far. It doesn’t pick up or spin out water as well as the official mophead, but it performs better than the others I’ve tried as I was able to use it longer before I had to switch out due to it being too wet and not spinning dry enough. It also was strong enough to get up most messes, so while it’s too soft it’s not as weak as the others.I have a lot of tiles in my home, every room except the bedrooms, so if you have less to clean you may get away with using one of these or for a light job. While I won’t be using these to replace the official ones, I will pull these out for spot mops so I can extend the life of my main one. For the price, these are better quality than I expected.
