Customers say
Customers find the hair brush has firm bristles that get through thick hair to the scalp. They appreciate its sturdiness, durability, and ability to reach the scalp. Many find it soft, value for money, and functional. However, some have mixed opinions on the bristle stiffness and size.

Very nice brush!
Very nice brush!! Nice look, nice shape and old fashioned, super hard nylon bristles, exactly what I wanted!!

Best Brush ever!!!
I had been looking for this brush for years! This is my favorite hair tool. My hair is thick (texture of Yaki Hair) and this brush is excellent. It doesn’t pull the hair out, it’s durable and feels good to the hand. Works on any hair length and texture. Definitely worth the purchase.

Old time Stiff bristles
The brush is made with stiff bristles like hair brushes used to be made. The handle is shorter now but isn’t a problem and I don’t have dainty hands.Easy to clean.

This is the one!
Like other reviewers, I’ve had the same hairbrush similar to this one for years (20+ in my case) since I could never find a decent alternative. Kudos to the reviewer who said they had theirs for 40 years! Lol… These types of hairbrushes with plastic/nylon bristles are impossible to find anymore. This brush is a very close substitute in general design, appearance, size, etc. So I’m very happy to have found one on Amazon. As far as the bristles, they are much stiffer/firmer than my old brush. But that’s to be expected since it’s new and needs to be broken in (along with just getting used to a new brush). You can help the process along by soaking in warm water and rubbing/massaging the bristles with a towel. With repeated use and/or repeated soakings, the bristles eventually will become more flexible.Since I was so pleased… I just purchased two more (one for backup and one to gift to my mother). Priced at $4.16 (as of July 2024), these would be great to add to beauty inspired gift bags for the huge nostalgic factor.

Travel size brush
The brush is a good brush as brushes go. It was the kind I was looking for. I was disappointed with the size. I was expecting a full size brush but it is more of a travel size.

Head scratcher
This item is underrated on one count. After a review said the bristles were hard, I knew I had to have it. This is the best HEAD SCRATCHER I have ever had. If you like long fingernails doing your head, this is the one for you !!!

Doesn’t work well with my super curly hair

It’s ok but it’s pretty scratchy

The handle is too small. Not made for adults. The bristles are sharp and hurt the neck, when trying to curl hair under. I don’t use it. Waste of money.
