    Entire box does not lock.
    The description says it has a lock and key. It does lock but only the top compartment. The other 3 drawers do not lock. The description is very misleading. I’m very disappointed and will be returning the jewelry box. Upon looking at the box again the ordered is not the one I received.

    Drawers difficult to pull
    I so wanted this jewelry box to work but it’s made out of a thick cardboard. The drawers do not glide easily. You really have to pull and you end up pulling the entire box toward you.

    Drawers are almost impossible to open
    I really wanted to like this. I had been looking for a large jewelry box. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry these days, but I had some fun and nice things from back when I did, and I wanted a place to keep it if I got the whim to wear some of it again. This looked perfect, but there is a major problem. All of the drawers are very snug in the frame, and they would be difficult at best to open if there were functional drawer handles, which there are not. The handles stick out less than one centimeter from the box, and are impossible to grip, both because there is not much the hold on to, and because they narrow at the front and your fingertips (which is all you can use) slide right off. I had to turn the box over and shake it to get the drawers opened enough that I could pull them out. I thought perhaps it was clumsy me, but hubby had difficulty too.I will probably use this box (hopefully pliers will help pull out the drawers) to store my stuff, but then the box will get put in the closet. It’s definitely not something for daily use. These things are supposed to make life easier, not increase frustration.
